Common use of Probation Extension Clause in Contracts

Probation Extension. The probationary period may be extended only by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union in writing for a specified period of time. When probation is extended the employee shall be notified in writing, and such notification will include any expectations required to pass probation. In no event shall a probation period be longer than one (1) year from the date of hire.
