Probationary Contract. An Administrator who is employed in an administrative position covered by the terms of this Agreement shall receive a one (1) year probationary contract during the first year of employment in such position. The probationary employment contract shall be subject to reduction in force, suspension or discharge, termination and non-renewal in accordance with the terms of the individual contract and Section 1229 of the Revised School Code. In the event a probationary Administrator is employed with an effective starting date other than July 1, it is understood that the Administrator must serve one (1) full year (12 months) as a probationary Administrator and that the effective date and the termination date of the probationary contract may be other than July 1 and June 30, respectively.
