Probationary Period; Change of Classification. In addition to the initial probationary period, an employee transferred or promoted to a different position shall serve a new assignment probationary period of ninety (90) calendar days in any such new position. During this ninety (90) day new assignment probationary period, if it is determined by the District that the employee's performance in the new position is unsatisfactory, the District shall have the right to reassign the employee to an assignment in his/her former position title. Prior to a decision to return the employee to their former classification, the supervisor will meet with the employee at least twice to discuss expectations, any areas where the employee is not meeting performance standards and provide a reasonable time within the 90 days to correct the performance issues.
