An employee needs to meet the criteria set forth in O.R.C. 3319.08(D) and 3319.11(B) in order to be eligible for a continuing contract by the Board. Any teacher anticipating becoming eligible for a continuing contract must notify the building principal in writing, of the anticipated eligibility with a copy to the Superintendent, by October 1st of the school year in which the teacher becomes eligible.
