If an employee wishes to raise a health and safety issue in a workplace, that employee must report it to the health and safety representative or the employer’s supervisor. • If the health and safety representative is not able to be contacted, an employee wishing to raise a health and safety issue in a workplace, must report it to the employer’s safety supervisor or another employer representative. • An employee may take all steps that are necessary, including leaving the employee's part of the workplace, to report an issue. • If the employer identifies a health and safety issue it may report it to the health and safety representative.
