Procedure in Serious Cases. When an employee is to be charged in a disciplinary meeting with a violation that is likely to result in the employee receiving a suspension, demotion or dismissal, the following shall apply: A. The employee shall be given a notice five (5) calendar days in advance of the disciplinary meeting and that notice shall advise the employee of the general nature of the suspected violation. B. The employee shall be advised in the notice of his right to be represented by a Union representative at such meeting. Any suspension, demotion or dismissal may only be appealed through the grievance procedure as provided for in this Agreement.

A. The employee shall be given a notice five (5) calendar days in advance of the disciplinary meeting hearing and that notice shall advise the employee of the general nature of the suspected violation.
B. The employee shall be advised in the notice of his right to be represented by a Union representative at such meetinghearing. Any suspension, demotion or dismissal may only be appealed through the grievance procedure as provided for in this Agreement.
