PROCEDURES FOR FILING A GRIEVANCE. A. Informal Resolution 1. A teacher with a grievance may first discuss it with the immediate supervisor prior to filing of a Level One Grievance, indicating the article and section alleged to be violated, with the objective of resolving the matter informally. No written record will be made. While not required, the District and the Union encourage informal resolution whenever possible as the goal of the process is to resolve issues at the lowest level.
