Common use of Proceed Order Clause in Contracts

Proceed Order. A Proceed Order is a written notice from the Board that includes a specified date upon which the CMR is authorized to commence with a Phase of the Project. A Proceed Order is a condition precedent to the incurring of any compensable costs, including overhead costs, or the earning of and entitlement to any fees by the CMR. The Proceed Order was formerly referred to as the “Notice to Proceed.”
