Products Undergone Substantial Transformation. A product is considered as originating in a Party if “the non-originating materials used in the working or processing of such product have undergone substantial transformation in a Party”.4 Rules with respect to substantial transformation are stipulated in Chapter 3 and ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ of the Sino-Swiss FTA based on which three testing rules regarding substantial transformation, which will be explained below, are provided.5
