Common use of Professional Matters Clause in Contracts

Professional Matters. Except for those specific responsibilities assigned to the CEO in CCH’s Medical Staff Bylaws, Medical professional matters shall be the responsibility of CCH’s duly appointed Medical Staff (the “Medical Staff”) and CCH, all as provided under applicable state law and CCH’s Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations (“Medical Staff Bylaws”). CCH’s Medical Staff shall be organized and function according to its Medical Staff Bylaws, as amended from time to time, subject to review and approval of CCH. If requested by CCH, UCHealth, through its choice of designee, may advise CCH on the development and maintenance of Medical Staff relations and recommended best practices for credentialing processes.
