Common use of Professional Oversight Indemnification Clause in Contracts

Professional Oversight Indemnification. CONSULTANT understands and agrees that CITY has contracted with CONSULTANT based upon CONSULTANT’s representations that CONSULTANT is a skilled professional and fully able to provide the services set out in this Agreement. In addition to any other indemnification set out in this Agreement, CONSULTANT agrees to defend, indemnify and hold and save harmless CITY from any and all claims, settlements, and judgments whatsoever arising out of CITY’s alleged negligence in hiring or failing to properly supervise CONSULTANT.
