PROGRESS AND FINAL PAYMENTS. Receipt of payment by Contractor from Owner for Subcontract Work is a condition precedent to payment by Contractor to Subcontractor. Subcontractor acknowledges that it relies on credit of Owner, not Contractor, for payment of Subcontract Work. Progress payments, less retainage, shall be made to Subcontractor, for Subcontract Work satisfactorily performed, no later than seven (7) days after receipt by Contractor of payment from Owner for Subcontract Work.
