Prohibited Uses. You must not: • give your card or account number to others or allow them to use your card or account for charges, identification or any other purpose, • return goods or services obtained using your account for a cash refund, • use your card to obtain cash from a merchant for a charge recorded as a purchase or obtain cash from any source through a contactless transaction, • obtain a credit to your account except by way of a refund for goods or services previously purchased on your account, • use your account if you are bankrupt or insolvent or if you do not honestly expect to be able to pay your minimum payment on your next statement, • use your card if it is found after having been reported to us as lost or stolen, • transfer balances from another account with us to pay your account (unless we permit), • use your account if your card has been suspended or cancelled or after the valid date shown on the front of the card, or • use your account for an unlawful purpose, including the purchase of goods or services prohibited by the laws of Canada or any other country where the card is used or where the goods or services are provided. It is your responsibility to ensure that there is no prohibited use of your account by you and any supplementary cardmembers. You will be responsible for any prohibited use of your account even if we did not prevent or stop the prohibited use.
