Project Bank Accounts. The Project Bank Accounts scheme is a government policy aimed at enhancing the speed with which payment progresses down the construction supply chain. The scheme has been promoted in the Government Construction Strategies and should be used within central government projects unless there are compelling reasons not to do so. Amended provisions have not been included within this boilerplate document, however their use is encouraged. They should be incorporated using the standard facilities within NEC, JCT and PPC documents.
