We will provide written reports of the field and laboratory tests at the completion of each task. Testing: In-place density testing will be performed with the nuclear gauge to verify that the minimum compaction requirements are attained at frequencies specified by the contract documents. Laboratory Testing: Laboratory analysis of soils/aggregate to be utilized during construction will be performed to verify conformance to the project specifications. This may include sampling and testing prior to materials being imported to the project site, if requested. Testing: In-place density testing will be performed with the nuclear gauge to verify that the minimum compaction requirements are attained at frequencies specified by the contract documents. These services will also include monitoring of asphalt temperatures and rolling procedures. Laboratory Testing: Laboratory analysis of asphalt to be utilized during construction will be performed to verify conformance to the project specifications. This may include sampling and testing of the asphalt from the batch plant. Our inspector will provide continuous inspection during the placement of lightweight cellular concrete to verify mix design conformance and provide unit weight testing as required by the project specifications. Our inspector will sample fresh concrete placed within Civil areas and obtain samples for strength testing, perform slump and air entrainment tests and monitor the temperature of the concrete. A set of test cylinders will be made at frequencies specified within the contract documents, for each class of concrete placed each day. Strength test cylinders will be cured in our laboratory until they are tested at ages specified within the project specifications. Copies of the results of all compression tests will be provided upon completion of the test.
