Projections and Forecasts Clause Samples
The "Projections and Forecasts" clause defines how future-oriented statements, such as estimates of sales, revenues, or other performance metrics, are to be treated within the agreement. Typically, this clause clarifies that any projections or forecasts provided are for informational purposes only and are not guarantees of actual results. It may also specify that the party providing such information is not liable if actual outcomes differ from the projections. The core function of this clause is to manage expectations and limit liability regarding the accuracy of forward-looking statements, thereby reducing the risk of disputes if future results do not align with initial estimates.
