Promoting Objectivity in Research Clause Samples

The 'Promoting Objectivity in Research' clause is designed to ensure that research activities are conducted without bias or undue influence from personal or financial interests. In practice, this clause typically requires researchers to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and may mandate the implementation of management plans to mitigate such conflicts. By establishing clear expectations and procedures, the clause helps maintain the integrity of research findings and protects the credibility of both the researchers and the institution.

In the event any actual or potential conflict arises, Consultant agrees (i) to notify HRI in writing within ten (10) days to allow HRI to evaluate any potential or actual conflict, and, (ii) if required, eliminate the conflict or put in place an acceptable conflict management plan.
