Promotion/Reversion. An employee who receives a promotion shall serve a six (6) month probationary period in the new position. There will be at least two (2) evaluations during the probationary period. 8.1.8.1 If the District, using the evaluation process, determines that the employee has not successfully served during the probationary period, the employee shall be reverted to the job classification held immediately prior to the promotion. 8.1.8.2 Reversion will not automatically return the employee to the prior job site, department, or specified area and may result in the bumping, displacement, or layoff of less senior employees.
