Promotion Within SHARE. The employee will receive a promotional increase of 5% per grade up to a maximum of 15%. If the calculated rate is below the new minimum rate for the job, the employee will receive an additional adjustment to the minimum. If the increase is at a rate which is between two platform rates, the employee will be placed at the platform rate closest to but not less than the calculated rate.
Promotion Within SHARE. The caregiver will receive a promotional increase of 5% per grade up to a maximum 15% (for three pay grades). If management determines that the new rate following a promotion would create internal inequity, it may increase the promoted caregiver’s rate. Promotions cannot result in someone going over the maximum of that new position’s pay grade. If the increase to the maximum of the new grade is less than 5% per grade, the residual will be paid in a lump sum.
