Promotional Materials Prior Notification. 23.1. Publications, Announcements, etc. Use of Grant Funds for promotions is subject to the prohibitions for advertising or public relations costs in 2 CFR 200.421(e). In the event that Grantor funds are used in whole or in part to produce any written publications, announcements, reports, flyers, brochures or other written materials, Grantee shall obtain Prior Approval for the use of those funds (2 CFR 200.467) and agrees to include in these publications, announcements, reports, flyers, brochures and all other such material, the phrase “Funding provided in whole or in part by the [Grantor].” Exceptions to this requirement must be requested, in writing, from Grantor and will be considered authorized only upon written notice thereof to Grantee.
