Common use of Proof of Licensure Clause in Contracts

Proof of Licensure. A contract of employment issued by the Board and signed by a teacher shall be null and void if, by July 1, the teacher fails to provide the Superintendent a copy of a valid Vermont educator license or written verification from the WSESU Local Standards Board or the Vermont Department of Education that all of the requirements of licensure for his/her assignment have been fully met and the license is pending issuance by the Department.
