Protection and System Quality. a. It shall be Seller’s obligation, at its expense, to install or have installed and keep operative System Protective Facilities, including such protective and regulating devices as are identified by order, rule or regulation of any duly constituted regulatory authority having jurisdiction, or as are otherwise necessary to protect personnel and equipment and to minimize deleterious effects to Company’s electric service operation. Any such protective or regulating devices that may be required on Company’s facilities shall be installed by Company at Seller’s expense, with Company being permitted to collect the cost of such devices by deducting that amount from the payment that otherwise would have been made to Seller for Energy sales during one or more months.
