Common use of Protection and System Quality Clause in Contracts

Protection and System Quality. Facility Owner shall, at its own cost and expense, install, maintain, and operate system protection facilities on the Facility Owner side of the Interconnection Boundary, including such protective and regulating devices, or as otherwise necessary, to protect personnel and equipment and to minimize deleterious effects to CEB’s electric service operation arising from the Facility. Any such protective or regulating devices that may be required to be installed on the CEB’s Interconnection Facilities in connection with the operation of the Facility shall require the prior approval of CEB before installation by Facility Owner.
