PROTECTION OF PRIVACY AND ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION. The Parties recognize that employees have a reasonable expectation of privacy within the workplace, subject to the rights and obligations of the Parties in the collective agreement and applicable legislation. Surveillance Cameras Surveillance cameras and related equipment may not be installed or be used in employee-occupied areas during normal working hours by the resident(s), family(s) or guardian(s) without the knowledge of the Employees in the areas and of the Union. Surveillance cameras and related equipment shall not be used in employee- occupied areas during normal working hours without the knowledge of the Employees in the areas and of the Union.
