Common use of Provide Services Clause in Contracts

Provide Services. (Unless prevented by strikes, lockouts, unavailability of materials or labour or by any other matter outside the control of the Landlord and so long as the Tenant shall pay the Service Charge) to use its best endeavours to carry out the works and to provide the services referred to in Schedule 4 Part B, and provided that the Landlord shall not be liable to the Tenant for any loss, damage or inconvenience which may be caused because of: (a) temporary interruption of such services during periods of inspection, maintenance, repair and renewal so long as such periods are kept as short as reasonably practicable and the Landlord shall use all reasonable endeavours to prevent or mitigate the effect of such interruption and to restore the services as soon as possible; or (b) the breakdown, failure, stoppage, leaking, bursting or defect of any Conducting Media provided the Landlord uses its best endeavours to remedy such matters (so far as they are within its control) as soon as reasonably practicable.
