PROVISION OF HAND CONTROLS. (1) Avis shall make every effort, whenever possible, to provide at the renter's request, a vehicle equipped with hand controls to any qualified, disabled renter. Hand controls are provided, on a reservation basis. At Detroit Metro Airport, eight (8) hours advance notice is required for hand control reservations provided that the request is received either at the World Reservation Center or locally between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, Avis requests as much notice as possible so that it may service a disabled customer's needs. Avis will use its best efforts to satisfy a request for a vehicle with hand controls which is received with less than eight (8) hours notice. (2) Avis has designated an employee at its World Reservation Center, entitled the Disability Services Coordinator, to coordinate, follow-up on and be responsible for all reservations made by renters with disabilities through the World Reservation Center. (3) Avis uses hand control equipment manufactured by Kroepke Kontrols, Inc. This equipment features a single lever action: pull for acceleration or push for braking. This equipment is approved by the government and meets all federal safety laws. (4) Avis installs Kroepke hand controls on a wide range of vehicles including: (A) 2-Door Compact, (B) 4-Door Compact, (D) 2-Door Full Size, (E) 4-Door Full Size, (H) Luxury and (K) Convertible.

  • TIA Controls If any provision of this Indenture limits, qualifies, or conflicts with another provision which is required to be included in this Indenture by the TIA, the required provision shall control.

  • Personal Controls a. Employee Training. All workforce members who assist in the performance of functions or activities on behalf of COUNTY in connection with Agreement, or access or disclose PHI COUNTY discloses to CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of COUNTY, must complete information privacy and security training, at least annually, at CONTRACTOR’s expense. Each workforce member who receives information privacy and security training must sign a certification, indicating the member’s name and the date on which the training was completed. These certifications must be retained for a period of six (6) years following the termination of Agreement.

  • Audit Controls a. System Security Review. CONTRACTOR must ensure audit control mechanisms that record and examine system activity are in place. All systems processing and/or storing PHI COUNTY discloses to CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of COUNTY must have at least an annual system risk assessment/security review which provides assurance that administrative, physical, and technical controls are functioning effectively and providing adequate levels of protection. Reviews should include vulnerability scanning tools.

  • Access Controls a. Authorized Access - DST shall have controls that are designed to maintain the logical separation such that access to systems hosting Fund Data and/or being used to provide services to Fund will uniquely identify each individual requiring access, grant access only to authorized personnel based on the principle of least privileges, and prevent unauthorized access to Fund Data. b. User Access - DST shall have a process to promptly disable access to Fund Data by any DST personnel who no longer requires such access. DST will also promptly remove access of Fund personnel upon receipt of notification from Fund.

  • Personnel Controls The County agrees to advise Contractor Staff, who have access to PII, of the confidentiality of the information, the safeguards required to protect the information, and the civil and criminal sanctions for non-compliance contained in applicable federal and state laws. For that purpose, the Contractor shall implement the following personnel controls:
