Common use of Prudent Utility Practice Clause in Contracts

Prudent Utility Practice. Member shall, in accordance with Prudent Utility Practice, (1) at all times operate its electric system, or integrated utility system of which the electric system is a part, and the business in connection therewith in an efficient manner, (2) maintain its electric system, or integrated utility system of which the electric system is a part, in good repair, working order and condition, and (3) from time to time make all necessary and proper repairs, renewals, replacements, additions, betterments and improvements with respect to the electric system, or integrated utility system of which the electric system is a part, so that at all times the business carried on in connection therewith shall be properly conducted.
