Common use of PURCHASE OF MATERIAL Clause in Contracts

PURCHASE OF MATERIAL. 23.1 The Operator will purchase all materials and procure all services required in the Mining Operations. 23.2 Material purchased and services procured by the Operator directly for the Mining Operations will be charged to the Project Account at the price paid by the Operator less deduction for all discounts actually received. 23.3 So far as it is reasonably practical and consistent with efficient and economical operations, the Operator will purchase, furnish or otherwise acquire only such Material and the Operator shall attempt to minimize the accumulation of surplus stocks of materials. 23.4 The Operator shall be entitled to supply for use in connection with the Mining Operations equipment and facilities which are owned by the Operator and the charge the Project Account with such reasonable costs which is commensurate with the ownership and use thereof.
