Common use of Purpose of Document Clause in Contracts

Purpose of Document. This Statement of Work (“SOW”) is entered into as of July 31, 2009 (“SOW Effective Date”) between Silver Spring Networks, Inc. (“SSN”) and Florida Power & Light Company (“FPL”) and is part of the terms of that certain Master Services and Software License Agreement effective 8/1/2007 between SSN and FPL (“Agreement”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in this SOW shall have the meaning assigned them in the Agreement. In the event that there is a conflict or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of this SOW and those contained in the Agreement, the terms of the Agreement shall prevail, unless the parties explicitly state the intention to supersede the terms of the Agreement with respect to such conflict or inconsistency.
