Purpose of Evaluations. i. To assess an employee's work performance ii. To help the employee to achieve greater effectiveness in performance of the work assignment. iii. To be used as an instrument to make personnel decisions including reassignments, continuing contract status, limited contract renewal, or termination. iv. To assist teachers and administrators in identifying and developing best educational practices in order to provide the greatest opportunity for student learning and achievement.
