By way of illustration but not by way of requirement or limitation, the District may provide public health services such as the following: communicable disease control and prevention services, public health education, information and referral services, environmental and consumer health programs, public health nutrition programs, community assessment and health status data analysis, public health emergency preparedness and response, and collaborating with others to address public health issues. 5.5.
