Common use of Pursuant to 11 Clause in Contracts

Pursuant to 11. 02 a) the Employer shall notify affected employees who are to be laid off ten (10) working days before the lay-off is to be effective. If the employee laid off has not had the opportunity to work ten (10) full days after the notice of lay-off, she shall be paid in lieu of work for that part of ten (10) days, for which they were scheduled to work, during which work was not made available. No such notice is required for lay-off resulting from matter beyond the control of the Employer.
