Qualifications of Insurer. Insurance shall be written by a company licensed to do business in the State of Texas at the time the policy is issued and renewed, and shall be written by a company with an A.M. Best rating of A- or better.
Qualifications of Insurer. The insurance shall be provided by an acceptable insurance provider, as determined by the District, which satisfies the following minimum requirements: An insurance carrier admitted to do business in California and maintaining an agent for process within the state. Such insurance carrier shall maintain a current A.M. Best rating classification of "A-" or better and a financial size of "$10 million to $24 million (Class V) or better", or A Lloyds of London program provided by syndicates of Lloyds of London and other London insurance carriers, providing all participants are qualified to do business in California and the policy provides for an agent for process in the state. Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability shall be provided by an A-V rated carrier or by the California State Compensation Fund. If provided by a carrier other than California State Compensation Fund, Contractor shall provide proof of the carrier’s A-V rating to District.
Qualifications of Insurer. The insurance shall be provided by an acceptable insurance provider, as determined by City, which satisfies all of the following minimum requirements: (i) An insurance carrier admitted to do business in California and maintaining an agent for service of process within this State; and, (ii) An insurance carrier with a current A.M. Best Rating of A:VII or better (except for workers’ compensation provided through the California State Compensation Fund).
Qualifications of Insurer. An insurer issuing a reimbursement insurance policy under this chapter shall be authorized, registered, or otherwise permitted to transact business in this state and shall meet one of the following requirements: a. At the time the policy is filed with the commissioner, and continuously thereafter, the insurer maintains surplus as to policyholders and paid-in capital of at least fifteen million dollars and annually files copies of the insurer’s financial statements, national association of insurance commissioners annual statement, and actuarial certification, if required and filed in the insurer’s state of domicile. b. At the time the policy is filed with the commissioner and continuously thereafter, the insurer does all of the following: (1) Maintains surplus as to policyholders and paid-in capital of less than fifteen million dollars but at least ten million dollars. (2) Demonstrates to the satisfaction of the commissioner that the insurer maintains a ratio of net written premiums, wherever written, to surplus as to policyholders and paid-in capital of not greater than three to one. (3) Files copies annually of the insurer’s financial statements, national association of insurance commissioners annual statement, and actuarial certification, if required and filed in the insurer’s state of domicile.

  • Requirements of Insurance All such insurance shall (i) provide that no cancellation, material reduction in amount or material change in coverage thereof shall be effective until at least 10 days (or, to the extent reasonably available, 30 days) after receipt by the Collateral Agent of written notice thereof (the Borrower shall deliver a copy of the policy (and to the extent any such policy is cancelled or renewed, a renewal or replacement policy) or other evidence thereof to the Administrative Agent and the Collateral Agent, or insurance certificate with respect thereto) and (ii) name the Collateral Agent as loss payee (in the case of property insurance) or additional insured on behalf of the Secured Parties (in the case of liability insurance) (it being understood that, absent an Event of Default, any proceeds of any such property insurance shall be delivered by the insurer(s) to the Borrower or one of its Subsidiaries and applied in accordance with this Agreement), as applicable.

  • Modification of insurance requirements The Security Trustee shall notify the Borrower of any proposed modification under Clause 13.18 to the requirements of this Clause 13 which the Majority Lenders consider appropriate in the circumstances, and such modification shall take effect on and from the date it is notified in writing to the Borrower as an amendment to this Clause 13 and shall bind the Borrower accordingly.

  • Review of insurance requirements The Security Trustee shall be entitled to review the requirements of this Clause 13 from time to time in order to take account of any changes in circumstances after the date of this Agreement which are, in the opinion of the Security Trustee, significant and capable of affecting the Borrowers, the Ships and their Insurances (including, without limitation, changes in the availability or the cost of insurance coverage or the risks to which each Borrower may be subject), and may appoint insurance consultants in relation to this review at the cost of the relevant Borrower.

  • Types of Insurance The types and amounts of insurance required to be maintained under this Article are as follows: (a) Commercial general liability insurance for bodily injury liability, including death, and property damage liability, incurred in connection with the performance of this Agreement, with minimum limits of $1,000,000 in respect of claims arising out of personal injury or sickness or death of any one person, $1,000,000 in respect of claims arising out of personal injury, sickness or death in any one accident or disaster, and $1,000,000 in respect of claims arising out of property damage in any one accident or disaster; and (b) Workers Compensation, Employers Liability, and Disability Benefits as required by New York State.

  • Maintenance of Insurance; Policy Provisions The Contractor, at no additional direct cost to NYSERDA, shall maintain or cause to be maintained throughout the term of this Agreement, insurance of the types and in the amounts specified in the Section hereof entitled Types of Insurance. All such insurance shall be evidenced by insurance policies, each of which shall: (a) except policies in evidence of insurance required under Section 11.02(b), name or be endorsed to cover NYSERDA, the State of New York and the Contractor as additional insureds; (b) provide that such policy may not be cancelled or modified until at least 30 days after receipt by NYSERDA of written notice thereof; and (c) be reasonably satisfactory to NYSERDA in all other respects.
