Qualifying Events. FMLA will be provided to eligible employees for any of the following 11 reasons: 12 i. To care for the employee’s child after birth, or placement for adoption or ▇▇▇▇▇▇ care; 13 ii. For a serious health condition of the employee, household member or relative. 14 iii. An employee who is the spouse, son or daughter, parent or next of kin of a service 15 member who is recovering from a serious illness or injury sustained while on active 16 duty is entitled to twenty-six (26) weeks of unpaid leave in a twelve (12) month 17 period.
