Common use of Quality Assurance System Clause in Contracts

Quality Assurance System. The Contractor will be solely responsible for the production of work that complies with the Specifications to the satisfaction of the Project Manager. To this end it will be the full responsibility of the Contractor to institute an appropriate Quality Assurance (QA) system on site. The Project Manager will audit the Contractor’s quality assurance (QA) system on a regular basis to verify that adequate independent checks and tests are being carried out and to ensure that the Contractor’s own control is sufficient to identify and possible quality problems which could cause a delay or defect. The Contractor shall ensure that adequate supervisory staff, the required transport, instruments, equipment and tools are available to control the quality of his own workmanship in accordance with his QA- system. His attention is drawn to the fact that it is not the duty of the Project Manager to act as ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or surveyor
