Rates on Regular Work Days. (a) Except as identified below, for all time worked beyond the regular work day as defined in Article 16, employees will receive overtime at the rate of time and one- half (1-½x) for the first three (3) hours and double time (2x) after three (3) hours in any one (1) day or shift. (b) For Schedule "F" Airport employees, overtime shall be paid at time and one-half (1-½x) for the first (1st) hour worked after the employee's ten (10) hour shift and double time (2x) thereafter. (c) For Schedule “E” Watch Clerk employees, hours worked on a day shift beyond eleven (11) hours shall be paid at the rate of double time (2x) in any one (1) day or shift, and on a night shift beyond nine (9) hours will be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-½x) for the first two (2) hours and double time (2x) thereafter for any one (1) day or shift. (d) For Schedule “E” Police Guard employees, hours worked beyond twelve (12) hours shall be paid at the rate of double time (2x) for all hours worked in any one (1) day or shift. (e) For Schedule “E” Police Records Services Coordinator and Records Clerk employees, overtime shall be paid at time and one-half (1-½x) for the first (1st) hour worked after the employee's ten (10) hour shift and double time (2x) thereafter.

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.

(b) The agreed indicative RDO/Working Day Calendars for 2024 to 2029 are attached at Appendix D of this Agreement. (c) For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in the arrangement for an indicative RDO / Working Day Calendar is intended to impose a limit on the ability of the Employer to determine with its Employees when and where work can be performed to meet operational requirements or otherwise limit the Employer’s right to manage its business and improve productivity.
