Common use of Reason for Program Clause in Contracts

Reason for Program. The purpose of the Sick Leave Bank is to provide paid days for catastrophic personal or family illness to contributors to the Bank who have exhausted their accumulated sick days and who are experiencing prolonged catastrophic personal or family illness or injury. Allotments will be limited to participating employees for use only in cases of catastrophic illness, injury or non-elective surgery occurring under unusual, severe or emergency conditions as determined by the Sick Leave Bank Committee (SLBC).
