Common use of Reasonable Control Clause in Contracts

Reasonable Control. If either of us is unable to perform any obligation under this Contract because of a matter beyond our reasonable control such as lightning, flood, exceptionally severe weather, fire, explosion, war, civil disorder, industrial disputes (whether or not involving our employees) or act of local or central Government or other competent authorities, neither of us will be liable to the other for that failure to perform.
