Common use of Reclassification of Position Clause in Contracts

Reclassification of Position. ‌ Any employee whose position classification is changed to 1 with a lower maximum salary through no fault of their own, shall receive 50% of the negotiated salary increase applicable to the employee's new classification. Such employee shall receive the full negotiated salary increase when the maximum salary of their classification equals or exceeds the salary which they are receiving. This clause shall apply for the duration of this agreement.
