Common use of Recognized Clause in Contracts

Recognized. Holidays in this Agreement falling on a Saturday or Sunday shall be observed on the next scheduled work day, unless otherwise mutually agreed. When Christmas Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the next two scheduled work days will be observed as Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Statutory Holidays will be observed on the day that they fall and will not be moved into the regular work week for observance. All Statutory Holidays if worked will be compensated at time and one-half (1 ½) the regular rate of pay.
