Common use of Reconsideration Procedure Clause in Contracts

Reconsideration Procedure. 7.1 Within thirty (30) days of receipt of the Advice of Rating Form (Appendix E) in accordance with Articles 5.1, 6.2 and 6.3, the following procedure shall apply: a) The Employer, the Union, the incumbent(s) and/or the supervisor may request reconsideration of the job description and/or the job rating by completing and submitting a Reconsideration Form (Appendix F), stating the reason(s) for disagreeing with the job description and/or the rating of the job. b) The Employer, the Union, the incumbent(s) and/or the supervisor may make a presentation to the JJE Committee. c) The JJE Committee shall consider the reconsideration request and make a decision that shall be final and binding upon the parties and all employees affected. d) The JJE Committee shall inform all parties of its decision using the Review Decision Form (Appendix G).
