Record of Interviews. A. All interrogations and/or interviews of members conducted in conjunction with a Internal Investigations Unit shall be audio recorded by the Fire Department at the request of either party; and in the case of chain of command investigations, at the request of either when the investigator reasonably believes that departmental charges may result. Subsequent to the interview, the member and/or their attorney and/or Union Representative will be afforded the opportunity, upon written request directly to the Chief or designee, to listen to and make personal notes from or verify the accuracy of the audio recording made of the members interview. If a transcript of the audio recording is made by the Fire Department, the member will be provided a copy of such transcript upon written request directly to the Chief or his designee. B. All video, audio, or other type of recordings of meetings, conferences, interviews and/or interrogations used in the investigation of a case must be fully disclosed to either party prior to the conducting of the meeting, conference, interview and/or interrogation.

(B) All interviews of non-members in an Internal Affairs Bureau or EEO investigation shall be recorded by the investigator unless the non-member refuses to have his/her interview recorded. In that event, the investigator will document the interview to the extent possible.

Subsequent to the interview, the employee and/or his/her attorney will be afforded the opportunity, upon written request directly to the Chief or designee, to listen to and make personal notes from or verify the accuracy of the audio recording made of his/her interview. If a transcript of the audio recording is made by the Division of Fire, the employee will be provided a copy of such transcript upon written request directly to the Chief or designee.

  • Interviews An applicant for a posted position with the Employer who is not on a leave of absence without pay and who has been called for an interview shall suffer no loss of basic earnings to attend.   • Investigatory Interviews ‌ A. Upon request, an employee has the right to a union representative at an investigatory interview called by the Employer, if the employee reasonably believes discipline could result. An employee may also have a union representative at a pre-disciplinary meeting. If the requested representative is not reasonably available, the employee will select another representative who is available. Employees seeking representation are responsible for contacting their representative.

  • Interview Period It is agreed that upon commencement of employment new employees will be advised by a representative of the Hospital of the existence of the Union and the conditions surrounding their employment as contained in the herein collective agreement and any rules that may be formulated under its terms. It is also agreed that a representative of the union will be given an opportunity to interview each employee once within the completing month of his/her probationary period for the purpose of ascertaining the wishes of the employee concerning membership in the Union. Such interview may take place on the day of orientation. The Hospital will notify the Union monthly of the names of those employees who are completing their probationary period and on request will arrange a time and place for such interview that time of which shall not exceed 15 minutes. Neither employee shall suffer loss of regular pay as a result of such interview.

  • Exit Interview Upon termination of Employee’s employment for any reason, Employee agrees, if requested, to participate in an exit interview with the Company and reaffirm in writing Employee’s post-employment obligations as set forth in this Agreement.
