Common use of Recording Encryption Clause in Contracts

Recording Encryption. The Cloud Services encrypt, as standard, call recordings for voice and digital communications with customer specific keys generated by Genesys but rotation can be managed by Customer. Customer may elect to implement customer-owned encryption keys for recordings, allowing Customer to store and manage its keys outside the Cloud Services. To the extent required by applicable law or Customer’s policies, the Customer is responsible for the content of recordings and ensuring that PCI Data is not recorded, using Secure Pause or other tools made available by Genesys.
