Common use of Reduced Hours Clause in Contracts

Reduced Hours. Reduced hours will be allowed for Employees on restricted duty as a result of illness or pregnancy upon written notice from a qualified doctor. Employees with reduced hours may opt to receive sick pay or LWOP hours for scheduled hours affected. Employees on restricted duty must be able to work a minimum of one-half of their regular scheduled shift. Hours worked on restricted duty must be during an Employee’s regularly scheduled shift.
