Reduction and Termination of Revolving Commitments Clause Samples

The 'Reduction and Termination of Revolving Commitments' clause defines the conditions and procedures under which a borrower's access to revolving credit can be decreased or ended. Typically, this clause outlines how and when the borrower may voluntarily reduce or cancel unused portions of the credit facility, as well as circumstances where the lender may require reduction or termination, such as upon default or at the end of the commitment period. Its core function is to provide a clear framework for adjusting or ending the lender's obligation to extend further credit, thereby managing risk and ensuring both parties understand their rights and obligations regarding the availability of funds.

The Borrower may, upon not less than 10 Business Days’ prior written notice from the Borrower to the Lender, terminate the Revolving Commitment in its entirety.
