Common use of Reduction of Liabilities Clause in Contracts

Reduction of Liabilities. 13.1 The Waiver will have the effect of reducing the Renter's liability in respect of any Damage which occurs to the Vehicle for the duration of the Rental Period to the extent of the Excess reflected in the Rental Form and/or in the Official Rates Brochure in force at the time of Rental. 13.2 Notwithstanding any other provision of this Rental Agreement (including any Waiver), if the Vehicle is involved in any incident resulting in Damage, or if the Vehicle is stolen or lost, where the terms of the Rental Agreement have been breached by the Driver or the Additional Driver, the Renter will be liable for all damages, costs and expenses suffered or incurred by the Lessor.
