Employee Entitlements while on Worker’s Compensation If an Employee is absent from work and is in receipt of worker’s compensation, the Employee’s contract of employment shall remain intact during the period of absence, the Employer shall continue to make contributions on behalf of the Employee to all the Employee Entitlement Funds as outlined in clauses 20 to 23 (inclusive) of this Agreement. The Employee shall also continue to accrue all appropriate leave entitlements for the entire period for which worker’s compensation is in receipt.
Overtime Entitlement (a) An employee will be entitled to compensation for authorized overtime in excess of: (1) the scheduled daily hours; or (2) the maximum daily hours for those employees on flextime; or (3) the agreed averaging period. (b) For the purposes of calculating the hourly rate for overtime, an employee's biweekly rate shall be divided by 70. (c) Overtime shall be compensated in 30-minute increments; however, employees shall not be entitled to any compensation for periods of overtime of less than five minutes per day.

Sick Leave Entitlement A full-time employee shall earn sick leave credits at the rate of one and one-quarter (1¼) days for each month of service in which pay was received for at least ten (10) days. Sick leave shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred and fifty (250) days. A part-time employee shall be entitled to sick leave credits on a pro rata basis. Where an employee is absent from work because of illness or injury the employee shall be entitled to claim sick leave at her regular rate of pay for a maximum period equivalent to her accumulated sick leave credit.
Industrial Relations Training Leave 53.1 Union Delegate/Employee Representative shall have access to industrial relations training in accordance with Appendix E hereof.
