Reference Customer Clause Samples
The Reference Customer clause allows one party, typically the service provider, to publicly identify the other party as a customer for marketing or promotional purposes. This clause usually specifies the ways in which the customer's name, logo, or testimonial may be used, and may set conditions such as requiring prior written consent or limiting the scope of publicity. Its core practical function is to enable the provider to leverage the business relationship as a form of endorsement, thereby supporting business development efforts while addressing the customer's concerns about confidentiality and brand use.
