Common use of Reforestation Clause in Contracts

Reforestation. The parties anticipate that reforestation requirements will be met through natural regeneration. Except as provided in Exhibit C (Logging Requirements), the STATE is responsible for all reforestation obligations required under applicable Laws. PURCHASER must take reasonable actions to facilitate natural regeneration, as described in the approved Operating Plan. Notwithstanding any of the above, PURCHASER is responsible for reforestation of areas where PURCHASER’s Timber Operations have materially damaged or impeded an area’s ability to naturally regenerate.
