Regarding Preservation of Collateral Sample Clauses

The 'Regarding Preservation of Collateral' clause establishes the obligation of a party, typically the borrower, to maintain and protect any assets pledged as collateral under an agreement. This may include requirements to keep the collateral in good condition, insure it against loss or damage, and refrain from actions that could diminish its value, such as unauthorized sales or transfers. The core function of this clause is to ensure that the collateral retains its value throughout the term of the agreement, thereby safeguarding the lender’s security interest and reducing the risk of loss if the borrower defaults.
